IEC’s Hornet system provides live simultaneous 360o panoramic imaging from IEC Mantis, cooled MWIR thermal camera and a visual day camera. Both cameras have continuous zoom lenses to allow for a variety of vertical fields of view and to stop and stare to zoom in on targets or areas of interest. The Hornet incorporates the Dillon M-134 machine gun providing 3000 rounds per/minute of lethal response. Other Hornet features include: Terrain following mode to track targets at varying elevations, laser range finder to geo-locate targets, motion detection and tracking video analytics, slew to cue commands to other assessment cameras and remotely operated weapon systems and interfacing with IES's IntrudIR Alert® Command and Control Middleware.
